Riyadh Daily published Charge d'Affaires Mr. Li Huaxin's Message On the Occasion of the 71st Anniversary of Founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Sept. 23, 2003 as following: On the happy occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard H.R.H. Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aiziz, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz as well as friendly people of Saudi Arabia. In the past 71 years, the government and people of Saudi Arabia have made remarkable progress in maintaining the national sovereignty and promoting the social and economic development. We are glad to witness the political stability, the sustained economic development and the increased living standard of its people in the Kingdom. Saudi Arabia is exerting more and more important role in the regional and international arena. Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations in 1990, the bilateral relations between China and the Kingdom have developed steadily and smoothly with constant exchange of all-range visits. I am confident that with the solicitude shown by the leaders and the joint efforts made by the governments of our two countries, the political, economic, educational, cultural, scientific and technological cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia will be further promoted. May I wish the friendly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prosperity! May I wish the people of Saudi Arabia happiness! |
