Emir of Riyadh Region lauded the Saudi-Chinese cooperation with mutual benefits and win-win results

  On January 2, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Emir of Riyadh Region, H.R.H Prince Salman Ibn Abdel Aziz Al Saud. During the cordial conversation, they exchanged opinions on strengthening mutually-beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

  H.E. Mr. Yang spoke positively of the current Sino-Saudi relations while highlighted the new historical era ushered in by leaders from both sides in terms of mutual cooperation between the two countries. He denoted that China and Saudi Arabia had become good partners and sincere friends with fruitful achievements in a huge number of areas. China attached great importance to the role played by Saudi Arabia both in regional and international affairs and would like to further the strategic friendship and cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

  H.R.H Prince Salman welcomed H.E. Mr. Yang's arrival as the new Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia while lauded the important role played by China in maintaining world peace and stability. He denoted that relations between the two peoples could be traced back to the time of the "Silk Road". Saudi Arabia and China upheld similar positions politically and supplemented with each other economically without fundamental conflict of interests. Saudi Arabia would like to constantly push forward the strategic friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the spirit of mutual benefits and win-win results.
