On January 6, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Saudi Minister of Justice, H.E. Mr. Abdullah Bin Mohammad Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh. They exchanged views on strengthening mutual cooperation in the area of justice.

  H.E. Mr. Yang denoted that the Sino-Saudi friendship was long standing while Saudi Arabia was an important partner of China in the Middle East. It had witnessed a new era of Sino-Saudi relations featuring rapid and all round development since the exchange of visits between the head of state of China and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that the Chinese government would like to join hands with Saudi Arabia to promote mutual cooperation in the area of justice to a new height.

  H.E. Mr. Abdullah welcomed H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin's arrival as the new Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He denoted that both Saudi Arabia and China were countries with long history and vital influence. The two countries enjoyed traditional friendship while confronted common challenges. He pointed out that it served the common interests of the two countries to develop bilateral relations including cooperation in the area of justice. The Saudi Ministry of Justice would like to exert its own endeavors for the development of Saudi-Chinese relations.
